SUMMER JOBS AT CAMP UNISTAR

Camp UniStar looks for individuals age 18 and older with the flexibility to live in a rustic environment and experience working on a team. Ideal candidates are responsible individuals who will work in partnership with campers and staff and serve as role models in leadership with children and youth. Camp UniStar is looking for candidates with volunteer or job experience in food service, working with children, cleaning, lifeguarding, and expertise in sailing, canoeing, and small motor crafts.

Staff employment is from early June through Labor Day, with some personalization of schedules as needed.

Camp UniStar offers $300+ per week, plus room and board included. Staff members receive a day off each week in addition to two paid days off during the season to schedule at their discretion.

Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and ServSafe certifications are reimbursed!

Staff will experience all the beauty of northern Minnesota and have access to all the amenities of the island: canoeing, kayaking, sailing, swimming, hiking, fishing, trail running, singing, dancing, gorgeous sunsets, board and card games, volleyball, horseshoes, stargazing, bonfires, marshmallow roasts, talent shows – and more!

Families and individuals stay from Saturday afternoon to the following Saturday morning or from Saturday afternoon to the following Friday morning. From Sunday through Friday (or Thursday), there are two hours of programming in the morning – one program for adults and one for children ages 3 through 11 (led by staff). Programming for youth ages 12 through 17 occurs as arranged with youth (led by staff). The remainder of the time at Camp is for relaxation and camper-initiated activities.
