During the camp season, staff work and live at Camp. Staff will experience all the beauty of northern Minnesota and have access to all the amenities of the island: canoeing, kayaking, sailing, swimming, hiking, fishing, trail running, singing, dancing, gorgeous sunsets, board and card games, volleyball, horseshoes, stargazing, bonfires, marshmallow roasts, talent shows – and more!

Throughout the year, we are organized and stewarded by a dedicated team of volunteers across the Camp UniStar Foundation Board and Management Committee. For more information, please visit our Volunteer Page.

August Fill-in Positions (camp season)
Help provide Camp UniStar the necessary support to finish the camp season as the full-season staff members complete their contracts and leave the island. A fill-in may be responsible for a wide range of duties based on experience including regularly scheduled tasks in the kitchen, on the waterfront, with the youth and children’s programs, and other miscellaneous tasks that arise. Previous experience on staff is preferrable, but not necessary.

Administrative Assistant (year-round, remote)
Are you detailed-oriented, organized, and tech-savvy? Staff work and live at Camp, with most, but not all, of staff having private rooms.  Staff members receive a day off each week in addition to two paid days off during the season to schedule at their discretion. Camp UniStar is on an island in Cass Lake and is only accessible by boat.
